Start a check
- Start playback in the DAW.
- Choose See what the mix needs for an automatic scan, or choose a problem you already hear.
- Follow one focused listening check at a time.
Mix Companion listens to the full mix without changing the audio passing through it.
If the plugin does not appear
- Quit and restart the DAW after installation.
- Run the DAW's plugin rescan or reset its plugin cache.
- On Apple silicon, use a native build of the DAW where possible. Mix Companion is a universal macOS build.
- Pro Tools is not supported yet because an AAX version is not currently available.
